BECAUSE ALL PARTIES CONCERNED ARE NOT REALLY NEGOTIATING AND THUS PLAYING A WIN-LOSE GAME ENDING IN AN INEVITABLE LOSE-LOSE ENDGAME, PUTIN SHOULD FORMALLY DECLARE WAR ON NATO.

Putin’s obvious plan A has got stuck in the mud. Having been forced to cooperate with Xi his kick-off timetable after the Olympics is hindered by the weather. Not so much that plan A was dependent on the weather or mud, for it only required a pretext to make a de-escalating first nuclear strike at any NATO target without fear of a counter-attack.

Yet his military might not go along with that literally getting stuck in the mud by starting a military coup instead.

I hesitated to make this post, for it’s an out-of-the-box solution for Putin. Yet the only way I see out of this mess is to force NATO and the EU out of their clear win-lose bluffing game.

It’s clear to everyone including Putin that only attacking Ukraine will end in disaster for him.

Any attack at all will certainly end in a lose-lose disaster for humanity as a whole.

NATO & the EU need to choose as well:

Are we going to fight or be neutral when push comes to shove?

A nice legal solution is what such a formal declaration of war is. Whether Putin has the political clout in Russia to pull that off, is another question. He would probably first need to declare a state of emergency and then grab totalitarian power first.

A formal declaration of war doesn’t necessarily require an attack.

Russia has veto power in the UN on this issue and will force NATO nations to start real negotiations to resolve the conflict.

This festering wound in the Donbas and the Crimea needs to be resolved quickly.

Furthermore, the actual problem of economics needs to be resolved.

By declaring war the pretext of getting nuked, if the negotiations don’t quickly render results, will become clear to NATO. Also the futility of bolstering the defenses.

Whether Putin will choose this route will also depend on his perception of how quick the EU can become an (illegal BTW) military nuclear power.

Also, it will hopefully start to dawn to all that radical political solutions are in order. This via testing the Oracle Senate. They are the ones to hold the nuclear key’s in the future pending a real peace that such a Quattro Pollitica will prove to seemingly by magic organize.
